Soft rock direct shear rheometer

Our company has developed and produced a new type of testing instrument for the mechanical properties of coal and soft rock. This instrument horizontally shears a group of coal and soft rock specimens of the same type under different normal loads, and determines the shear strength parameters of coal and soft rock based on the expression of Coulomb's law.

This device is suitable for direct shear testing of coal, soft rock structural surfaces (such as joint surfaces, bedding surfaces, foliation surfaces, splitting surfaces, etc.), coal, soft rock itself, soil or mortar, and soft rock bonding surfaces.

This instrument is suitable for conducting shear strength tests on soft rocks and cementitious materials that have been cut and ground into regular cylindrical and square shapes.
