It is designed to simulate the fragmentation process of rocks in natural environments caused by water absorption loss cycles

It is suitable for the ability of rock samples with loose texture, weathered rock, clay rock, etc. to resist softening and disintegration after two standard cycles of drying and wetting. The resistance to disintegration index is the ratio of the residual mass of the specimen after wet dry cycles to the original mass, expressed as a percentage.

    Working principle:
    Accelerate the process of rock disintegration through periodic soaking (simulating water absorption expansion) and rotary drying (simulating thermal expansion, contraction, and mechanical erosion). Measure the quality loss or particle distribution after each cycle to evaluate the durability of the rock.
