APPLICATION AND PRINCIPLE
Retroreflection coefficient tester used to measure the retroreflection coefficient (R') of traffic sign materials, etc., which can reflect the reflective performance of the sign at different angles and help evaluate the visibility and safety of traffic signs at night or in low light conditions.
The Retroreflection Tester can test whether the color of the reflective material meets the relevant standards, such as the color standard of nighttime road safety signs (CIE 1931xy).
The Marking Retroreflectometer has a built-in light sensor that meets the requirements of relevant specifications. Retroreflectance Measuring Instrument is matched with the CIE lighting standard "A" light source. The detector uses a silicon diode and is corrected by a filter to meet the requirements of the CIE standard photometric observer spectral luminous efficiency function V (λ). By measuring the light intensity and angle of the light reflected from the light source to the surface of the measured sign, the retroreflection coefficient and other parameters are calculated.
The design meets the technical specifications of ISO 3864, CIE NO.54, and relevant standards such as ASTM in the United States and DIN in Germany. It also meets the measurement requirements of my country's transportation industry standard JT/T612-2004 and national standard GB/T18833-2002.
